**What the role is**
- Reporting to the Deputy Director, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for forging strategic partnerships and enhancing collaboration with foreign Science & Technology (S&T) government agencies and stakeholders to develop an S&T ecosystem for homeland security in Singapore. You will work closely with foreign attaches, liaison officers and government representatives to explore and develop collaborative opportunities in technological developments and capabilities in a dynamic, complex S&T homeland security landscape

**What you will be working on**
- The jobholder will be responsible for the following:

- Identify and curate relevant foreign S&T government counterparts, platforms and initiatives and opportunities to cultivate new relations and enhance existing collaboration.
- Manage and support bilateral and multilateral engagements with strategic foreign government partners through a spectrum of purpose-built platforms and outreach levers.
- Maintain strong technology foresight through horizon scanning and watch of emerging trends to identify opportunities across a broad spectrum of S&T areas that can be applied in the Home Team and facilitate joint projects or collaboration efforts with foreign government partners and agencies.
- Engage in bilateral discussions to review and monitor on-going projects and activities, technological roadmaps and mutual areas of interest in existing instruments such as MOUs and partnership agreements, in support of Singapore’s larger interest in global S&T collaboration.
- Engage in technical discussions with internal and global stakeholders to identify technological challenges and areas to steer new and existing collaboration in S&T homeland security.
- Plan and lead overseas work trips, visits and engagement involving Senior Management, in advancement of S&T partnerships. These involve the planning and curating of agendas and delegations, planning and execution of administrative arrangements and details, as well as the development of information briefs for senior Management.

**What we are looking for**
- Job Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications preferably in Business, Political Science, International Relations or Tech -management fields.
- Preferably 3 years of relevant work experience in managing international stakeholder engagement and collaboration.

You are:

- Someone with keen interest and knowledge in international affairs and government relations. Prior experience in international diplomacy, engagement and collaboration in related science and technology fields is advantageous.
- Able to think strategically and forward plan to pursue purposive international stakeholder engagement.
- Able to work independently to deliver outcomes in a timely manner; and in a team to facilitate collaborate.
- Able to prioritise and multi-task, to monitor ongoing tasks effectively and ensure that all deliverables are met.
- A strong communicator (both verbally and written) with excellent presentation, interpersonal and networking skills. Proficiency in other languages will be useful.
- Meticulous, with excellent organisational skills to effectively handle concurrent tasks and engagement.

All new hires are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure over time, based on performance.
