**Job Description**:
- Work closely with senior management to implement compliance culture and set the tone from the top
- Advise senior management and stakeholders on AML/CFT process
- Establish & maintain compliance policies & processes
- Perform sample review to on relevant departments such as customer facing functions, operations function is performing AML / CFT duties, in accordance with relevant policies, rules and regulations
- Review escalated suspicious transaction report (STR) for transactions that should be reported for management’s approval
- Prepare relevant reports for management's submission to board or regulators
- Provide AML/CFT trainings
- Perform compliance's enterprise-wide risk assessment
- Advise the tech team on compliance with MAS TRM guidelines
- Review project listings for security token exchange and cryptocurrency exchange in accordance with relevant rules and regulations
Job Requirements:
- Degree holder in Business, Finance, Law or related disciplines
- Minimum 5 years in compliance field, preferably with a financial institution
- Must have good working knowledge of regulations such as Securities and Futures Act and/or Payment Services Act and relevant MAS notices and guidelines
- Experience in liaison with the regulators preferred
- Experience in different areas of compliance preferred to set up procedure and framework
- Experience working in digital assets exchange is a plus
- Professional certificates such as Graduate Diploma in Compliance and AML, CAMS certified
