Research Engineer Ii

Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in development of lithium-ion battery pack design- Prepare design scheme according to system requirements on electric, thermal, structural performance- Participate in development of advanced battery thermal management technology- Skillfully use computational software to conduct multiphysical numerical analysis and model built-up for battery system- Prepare technical requirements and design verification standards according to system requirements- Literature review on equipment standards and specifications, prepare technical requirement documents- Conduct virtual design verification for the thermal performance of developed thermal management system- Responsible for preparing 2D and 3D mechanical drawings as well as animation- Responsible for preparing design progress document and final report
Job Requirements:- Research or working background in lithium-ion battery product development and production is preferable.- Familiar with CAD software like SolidWorks; and CAE simulation software like COMSOL and ANSYS.- Understand development progress of battery system product- Self-motivated and takes initiative- Independent and can work well with a team- Organized and detail oriented- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Preferable to have good communication skills and bilingual capability in Chinese and English for research purposes
