**Job Description**:
Due to the rapid growth and expansion of our global business, we have an opportunity for an experienced HR Director - Global Supply Chain and Asia Pacific to join us.

Leading a team of HR professionals based in Singapore, China and Vietnam, you will be a key member of the Asia leadership team, partnering with locally based Executive Vice Presidents (Supply Chain and APAC Sales), as well as working closely with regional Heads of Department.

One of 4 global HR Director roles for this engineering business, you will also have a key role to play in collectively driving continuous improvement across our whole employee experience; from onboarding to talent development, reward to succession planning.

**Key Responsibilities**
- By being a trusted partner, you’ll work with Asia and US based business leaders and the Exec VP for HR on leadership development, strategic talent programmes, succession planning, employee engagement, retention and diversity and inclusion programmes.
- As the region’s HR Director, you’ll be highly visible, impactful and provide effective guidance to the Leadership Team. Driving understanding and awareness of changes required to deliver a culture that embodies the organisation to promote, develop and encourage high performance throughout the organisation.
- Through your coaching partnerships you’ll work with local senior leaders to build and develop teams’ capabilities across the region.
- You will encourage a collaborative environment to enhance partnerships among the global HR team.
- You will identify and deliver effective HR practice across your functions to ensure it's a great place to work and recognised as an employer of choice.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience of working as a HR leader within a Global operation, including manufacturing, purchasing, quality and logistics organisation.
- You are an inspirational leader, with strong influencing and relationship-building ability, who champions a diverse and inclusive culture.
- Experienced in working effectively alongside senior management in an organisation undergoing significant growth.
- Proven experience of leading and implementing significant people change programmes.
- Highly collaborative in your approach, you’ll have proven ability of developing HR talent within prior organisations to drive high performing teams.
- Evidence of success in matching strategic HR initiatives with pragmatic deliverables on reward, engagement, talent development and performance management; customising global initiatives locally in Asia, or rolling initiatives out from Asia for global adoption
- With strong written and spoken English, ideally also able to speak either **Mandarin and/or Vietnamese or Malay.**
