**This position reports to**:
Asst Ops Manager

**Your role and responsibilities**:
As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for executing Service work with low to medium complexity according to work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines. Reporting to Service Manager, you will be delivering quality customer service to satisfy customers. In close co-operation with customer and other ABB teams, take actions to identify new Service business opportunities for ABB. Your responsibilities: - Execute after sales business activity for Variable Speed Drive including inspection, preventive & condition-based maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs and commissioning. May requires some knowledge and hands-on servicing on the Motor/Generator. - Actively coordinate with Operation Supervisors for optimal service potentials from regular customer interactions. - Proactively involve in self-learning and practical exposure for continuous competence and productivity improvement. - Maintain high level of personal leadership on safety and quality on work performed as well as documentations. - Reports early any technical/contract/quality/program/cost issues to management, along with recommendations for resolution.

**Qualifications for the role**:

- Diploma, ITC or equivalent in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with at least 3-5 years hands on Repair and Service experience on electrical equipment
- Knowledge and hands-on experience on LV & MV VFD, or Motors will be an advantage
- Strong Self-discipline with initiative and learning spirit, positive & responsible attitude, and team work
