Our client is a prominent Family office that has been established in Singapore for several years. They are currently seeking an experience Regional Tax Manager to support the Head of Finance to manage tax matters for them globally.

**Some of the key responsibilities will include**:

- Responsible for all tax (direct, indirect, individual) planning and compliance matters within an international business context
- Responsible for managing tax compliance for all entities as required under local tax and accounting regulations, common reporting standards, economic substance reporting, etc.
- Review all legal entity proposals as initiated by corporate or business units
- Develop and maintain a group-wide tax database
- Support projects, corporate re-organisation, mergers and acquisitions, financing transactions from tax and structuring perspective. Work closely with other functions including but not limited to finance and accounting, legal, corp secretary, compliance, banking, etc. to develop sustainable and holistic solutions that best fit the organisation
- Keep abreast with current tax and related development, analyse and evaluate their impact on the structures in light of the latest development in the international tax settings
- Any other ad hoc projects

**To be eligible for this role you will require**:

- A degree in accounting and / or tax and a professional qualification such as chartered accountant, CPA, or an equivalent
- At least 10 years of Big 4 working experience in a regional tax advisory role with knowledge in international tax (asset management industry knowledge would have an added advantage in this role)
- Familiar with jurisdictions across Indonesia, China, Brazil, Canada, Spain, Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong
- In-depth understanding of regional tax compliance and planning on a multinational level
- Good presentation skills, team player, results and solutions oriented
- Good command of English (written and verbal) and knowledge on other languages would have an advantage
- To be successful in this role, you will need to possess an analytical mindset, be meticulous and adopt a big picture perspective in this role. You are excellent in problem solving and help to drive continuous improvements initiatives and able to meet tight timelines
