Regional Manager, Front-end Project Planning and

Minimum qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Construction Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years experience managing multi-group, multi-disciplinary projects in a leadership role.
- Experience managing and developing teams.

Preferred qualifications:

- PhD in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Construction Engineering, or related technical field.
- Experience working with both internal customers and external parties, including managing vendor relationships.
- Experience with data center equipment/environments, including switchgear, generators, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, controls, security monitoring systems, fire safety systems, and understanding of start up/commissioning processes.
- Knowledge of large-scale facility electrical and mechanical systems.
- Understanding of standard practices in the design and construction industry, including knowledge of fast track design build processes and associated documents and contracts.

Through your leadership, you use your technical expertise to lead cross-functional teams to develop infrastructure improvements. You will oversee the front-end planning and pre-construction for our growing network of Data Centers, involved in shaping global strategies and responsible for regional implementation. As a Regional Manager at Google, you lead high performing teams that deliver strategic execution approaches for complex, multi-disciplinary construction projects. Collaborating with internal client groups and regional partners, your team will execute the front-end planning and pre-construction of data center projects, and provide continuity for the project through pre-execution handovers between Due Diligence, Master Planning, Design, and Execution teams ensuring quality and timely completion of strategies and deliverables to support project readiness.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage teams responsible for project management of multiple, simultaneous data center development projects through the due-diligence, master planning, design, and pre-construction.
- Create growth plans and be directly involved in resource planning of talent in the areas of Technical Program Management/Program Management.
- Maintain end-to-end responsibility of large-scale utility projects (power, water, sewer) from concept, design to construction, and manage large-scale utility trigger tables, as sites grow with capacity needs.
- Develop front-end planning execution strategies based on site specific attributes and business needs.
- Establish and maintain delivery models and global relationships with multiple vendors measuring key performance indicators and metrics.
