**Roles & Responsibilities**

**Purpose:

To received and record cash/credit card payments under direct supervision; and to balance cash receipts against register.

**Key Responsibilities:

- **

1. Payments and Cash Related Transactions;
- Handle all related transactions
- Verify and post to appropriate accounts
- Prepare cash receipts for bank deposit
- Prepare daily cash reports and balance the cash drawer
- Reconcile cash, cheque and credit card receipts daily
- Investigate and resolve any out-of-balance problem

2. Answer telephone enquiries on availability of music books and any other customer enquiries;

3. Attend to customer with their purchase of books;

4. Handle the stock requisition and transfer of books;

5. Maintain neat and orderly display of books;

7. Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Superior.

**Requirements:

- **
- Minimum ITE/GCE O Levels and above;
- **1-2 years **relevant working experience;
- **5 days work week**; An average of 44hrs per week but will be scheduled to work on retail hours (inclusive of weekends/Public Holidays)
