**About the Department**:
Established in 1986, UOB Asset management (UOBAM), a wholly-owned subsidiary of United Overseas Bank, is the Asian asset manager in the region with award-winning investment expertise across different asset classes.

UOBAM is headquartered in Singapore and has an extensive presence in Asia with regional business and investment offices in Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Brunei, Taiwan and Japan. Our network also includes UOB Islamic Asset Management.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure that the AML/KYC program, applicable local Singapore laws and regulatory requirements are duly and effectively implemented in the Company.
- Ensure that KYC review on new and existing customers (including trigger event) are perform in accordance to the Company’s policy and that the KYC master list is kept up to date;
- Review name screening alerts flagged out by Thomson Reuters Deployed system
- Ensure that the name screening alerts are timely reviewed and reported to Head of Governance & Compliance when needed;
- Ensure that the Thomson Reuters master list is kept up to date;
- Perform transaction monitoring to ensure that there are no suspicious transactions. Where needed, assist in independent review or assist in STR filing
- Assist in the queries from Business Development, Operations, Group Compliance, etc.
- Lead in projects relating to AML/KYC
- Identify issues and able to propose feasible solution relating to AML/KYC to Head of Governance & Compliance
- On-site visit to each subsidiary to perform its oversight function

**Job Requirements**:

- Recognized university degree with at least 6 years’ relevant experience in Anti-Money Laundering
- Minimum 4 -5 years of experience in leading a team
- Experience in AML advisory, FATCA, CRS and Asset Management will be an advantage
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with colleagues, team and external parties of all levels.
- Possess good problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work as a team.
