**What the role is**
- You will lead a team of finance professionals in the control and accounting of the department’s funds.

**What you will be working on**
- This includes managing the department’s payments and receipts, as well as the preparation and submission of the department’s quarterly budget reviews and annual budget requirement. You are also responsible in developing and implementing sound financial budgetary control frameworks and internal processes that are aligned to the financial policies and procedures. You will lead in initiatives for system testing and enhancements or integrations to the finance systems used by the department.

**What we are looking for**
- You must have a tertiary qualification preferably in Accountancy, Finance or Business with at least 5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles. A good understanding of government-related financial processes and experience with related systems as well as system implementation will be advantageous. You should be meticulous and a good team player who is able to work well under pressure or on multiple priorities and projects. Possession of good communication and interpersonal skills is essential.
