Gulp is a riverside taproom that provides a space for people to unwind, socialise and whilst enjoying a range of rotating craft beer, natural wines and delicious food. We are three friends who met through craft beer and have a collective experience of 10 years.

We are looking for a bar manager to lead our small team. This involves managing the day-to-day operations, whilst up-keeping an exceptional customer experience and bringing craft beer to life, no matter where drinkers are in their craft beer exploration.

**Responsibilities**:

- Creating a relaxed, friendly atmosphere where the customer comes first, making sure that everyone who comes to Gulp feels at home, and keeps coming back.
- Learning the food and drink offerings inside out to help customers navigate the options and learn more.
- Grow lasting relationships with customers, follow up and resolve any issues that occur with staff, customers, complaints, equipment etc.
- Gulp is a small establishment, all of the team will need to serve customers, prepare food and drinks and carry out operational procedures.
- Always seeking out ways to continually improve and develop customer enjoyment. This can be anything, from experiences, events, processes, service levels, increasing learning, product quality, all the way through to what music goes on.

Skill requirements
- Have 1+ years of bar experience, preferably with craft beer or natural wine knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills with customers, team and management.
- Determination to work hard and have fun in the process.
- Food handling certifications (this can be provided if not possessed).
- A strong appreciation and compliance for workplace regulations.
- A love to lead from the front and set the best examples

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 - 50 per week
