**Job Description**:
MainNet Capital is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive **Fund Operations Associate **to support the daily operations of our investment funds. The role involves managing fund transactions, overseeing reporting processes, ensuring compliance, and working closely with both internal teams and external service providers.

The Senior Fund Operations Associate will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and accurate execution of fund activities, including NAV calculations, reconciliation, and regulatory reporting.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage daily fund operations, including trade settlements, reconciliations, cash flows, and investor transactions.
- Oversee the preparation and review of NAV calculations and ensure accurate and timely reporting to clients and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with external fund administrators, custodians, and other service providers to ensure seamless fund operations.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies, staying up-to-date with changes in the regulatory environment.
- Assist in preparing regulatory filings and other required fund documentation.
- Conduct detailed analysis and reconciliation of portfolio holdings, cash balances, and transactions.
- Support the onboarding process for new funds, working closely with legal, compliance, and external partners to ensure all operational aspects are addressed.
- Prepare and review fund performance reports, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Manage internal relationships across departments, including finance, legal, compliance, and portfolio management teams, to support operational efficiency.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of fund operations.
- Participate in the launch of new funds, including system setup, coordination with service providers, and operational planning.
- Assist in the preparation of audit reports and work closely with auditors during the year-end process.

**Key Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in fund operations, fund accounting, or a related role within financial services or asset management.
- Strong understanding of investment fund structures, including hedge funds, private equity funds, and digital asset funds.
- Familiarity with fund administration processes, including NAV calculation, trade processing, and investor reporting.
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements related to fund operations, such as AIFMD, FATCA, and CRS.
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with fund management software or platforms.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience in managing relationships with external service providers such as custodians, fund administrators, and auditors.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in digital currency or blockchain-related fund operations.
- CPA or CFA qualification or working toward one.
- Experience with portfolio accounting systems and investment platforms.
