Commercial Divers

**Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform **inland underwater operations** including:

- Hull inspections
- Hull cleaning using brush carts
- Propeller polishing
- Blanking and other vessel-related tasks
- Operate underwater equipment such as **CCTV systems**, **still/digital photography gear**, and other inspection tools
- Ensure all diving equipment and machinery are **properly maintained**, serviceable, and meet **compliance standards**:

- Assist in diving boat operations including **mooring**, **routine cleaning**, and equipment setup
- Report any **equipment defects**, **malfunctions**, or **medical concerns** immediately to the Diving Supervisor
- Serve as **standby diver** or provide assistance in the **training of junior divers and dive tenders**:

- Maintain **accurate records** and analyze diving equipment reports to ensure they meet **Company, WSH, IMCA, and SS511 standards**:

- Adhere strictly to **Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies** and **safe diving procedures**:

- Comply with **all worksite safety rules**, **WSH regulations**, and **technical authority (TA)** procedures

**Requirements**:

- Possess valid **Commercial Diving certification** approved by **WSHC/CDAS** or equivalent to **IMCA SSDE standards**:

- Hold a valid **Occupational First Aid Certificate**:

- Possess a current and approved **Diving Medical Certificate**:

- Proven understanding of and experience with **SS511: Code of Practice for Diving at Work**:

- Physically fit and medically certified as fit for diving duties
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions from Diving Supervisors/Lead Divers
- Able to work **night shifts**, **weekends**, and **Public Holidays** as required
- Team player with a positive attitude, discipline, and a safety-first mindset
- Fluent in spoken and written **English**

Pay: $2,500.00 - $8,000.00 per month
