DESIGNATION : Simulation & Modelling Engineer, Module Technology

RESPONSIBILITIES

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- To develop the PV module performance model based on the electrical, thermal and mechanical behavior using a commercially available software.
- To work with a cross functional team to develop test plans, analyze test data, guide failure analysis, and quantify reliability and lifetime projections of photovoltaic module.
- Build-up and conduct simulations and modelling to reduce CTM losses to improve the module level performance and energy yield.
- Knowledge and experience in modeling/simulation software is required.

**ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assist R&D and process teams with technical analyses, troubleshooting and improvement projects.
- Plan, coordinate and execute product enhancements to module design with external collaborators.
- Drive project schedule and technical enquiries. Strategize testing/characterization methods.

QUALIFICATIONS
- B.S. degree or MSc in Physics, Electrical Engineering or Materials Science Field.
- In-depth knowledge and experience in MATLAB, PSpice, LabView so on.
- Knowledge in basic characterization and measurement tools.
- In-depth knowledge in electrical circuit diagram and equivalent circuit of semiconductor device.
- Excellent team worker
- Ability to make progress independently.
- Ability to co-operate with different professionals (operations, equipment suppliers, technology institutes, supply chain, operation)
- Working experience in Solar/Semiconductors/Electronics manufacturing industries is an advantage, but not necessary
