Duties of Delivery Drivers

**Delivery**

Pack and prepare sales/delivery orders for customers.

Ensure the orders are packed correctly, verify the accuracy of delivery documents before loading onto vehicle for delivery. Report any discrepancies to Company.

Prepare vehicle for operation by assisting in and overseeing the loading of the deliveries onto vehicle, securing of items.

Deliver orders via the most effective routes to ensure complete orders are delivered according to established time frames and customers’ needs.

Maintain communication with Company during deliveries to ensure any updated instructions are received and followed.

To merchandise and display products onto shelves at stores.

To exchange products at stores as instructed by the Company.

Ensure products are delivered correctly and accurately. Verify the quantities delivered with customers and bring back the necessary documents (such as Good Receipt Notes) back to the office.

Maintain a safe driving record free of violations

**Warehouse Duties (To assist when needed)**

To maintain storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements.

Perform warehouse duties such as, but not limited to sticking of labels, packing for deliveries unloading of shipments from containers and disposing of expired products, as required,

Check and inspect goods and ensuring they are of accurate quantity, type and also acceptable quality.

General housekeeping of the warehouse.

**Maintenance of delivery vehicle(s)**

Maintain and monitor vehicle maintenance and driving record requirements and maintain required documents for safety, security and quality processes.

Clean and maintain interior and exterior of the vehicle.

Drive vehicle for inspections and/or servicing as required by the law or when required by the Company.

Inspect vehicle tyres, lights, brakes, fluids etc. to ensure safe and cost-effective performance with preventive maintenance in mind.

**Inventory management**

To assist to clear/dispose expired products.

**Other duties as required and assigned.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract, Permanent
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $1,900.00 - $2,000.00 per month
