As guests take the first step into the hotel, they are welcomed by our tidy and well-kept lobby. As Public Area Attendant (Night), you’ll assist to ensure that the public areas meet the hotel’s standards for cleanliness and presentation - ensure high standards are met to deliver memorable and unique guest experiences. You will be placed on permanent night shift.

**What is the Job?**
- Ensure working knowledge of all hotel public areas and cleaning schedules completed in a routine and timely manner
- Be aware of hotel information, special events and programs happening in the hotel to respond to guests needs at first point
- Liaise with Housekeeping Supervisor in relation to chemical usage, problems or rectification suggestions
- Refer major complaints to and complete tasks directed by Management
- Maintain stock levels and work aligned to business requirements
- Maintain a current and thorough knowledge of all housekeeping systems
- Ensure all procedures are conducted safely and in accordance to OH&S guidelines
- Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly
- Assist guests and escort them to locations within the hotel at their requests

Ideally you are a motivated individual and team player with a friendly personality who is able to multi task and work in a fast paced environment. You should have at least a secondary qualification or minimum 1 year of experience working in a Hotel Housekeeping environment.
