**Roles & Responsibilities**

Braemar ACM Shipbroking is one of the largest global shipbroking companies with offices in 14 key shipping geographies. Part of Braemar Shipping Services PLC, we cover worldwide Chartering, sale and purchase, operations, and market research across all major commercial shipping sectors. As part of our business development plan we are now searching for Tankers Ship Broker to join our Singapore team.

**Key Responsibilities**

You will work alongside colleagues in our Singapore, Dubai, London and APAC regions covering Tankers broking role.

**Responsibilities**:
You will have the responsibility of maintaining a database of vessel positions, tonnage, rates, cargoes.
- You will develop, maintain and enhance relationships with Tankers counter parties.
- You will be required to closely monitor and gather market data to forecast the direction of the markets and advise clients accordingly.
- You will expand and develop contacts with principals from both Owners and Charterers.
- You will work as part of a close knit team to develop Tankers business opportunities across the value chain.

**Education, Experience and Skills**

You will have:

- A commercial/business degree or relevant maritime/shipping experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum 5 years experience in Tankers ship broking or in an Tankers commercial role.
- Excellent numeracy skills and the ability to analyse and present market data.
- Interpersonal skills essential.
- Existing relationships with active Tankers counter parties preferred.
