**Job Description:
1. Lead, Direct and Manage operations for the Operation Department
2. Coordinate with external parties (shipper/warehouses/carriers) and internal parties to support and make sure the whole process is running smooth
3. Supervise team members work and provide appropriate training as needed to ensure achievement of all set goals
4. Plan and monitor daily staffing schedules and adjust accordingly to ensure adequate staffing levels that support operational demands and business objectives
5. Prepare and review of any established reports to ensure booking timeliness and accuracy
6. Responsible for correct and timely freight bookings and up-to-date information in systems
7. Ensure shipments are performed accurately and timely as per agreed SOP and KPI
8. To conduct periodical SOP review/audit with the objective to increase operational efficiency by system automation or simplification of processes, hence eliminating potential risk areas
9. Establish and maintain guidelines and best practices to mitigate shipment compliance risk, this includes permit accuracy and compliance.
10. Ensure full compliance with Singapore Customs Regulations
11. Responsible for the yearly documentation audit conducted by customer / shipper
**Job Requirement:
- Preferably Senior Executive with Ocean freight forwarding experience
- Preferably good communication skills and proficiency in English
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in relevant field
