Executive, Health Policy Servicing

The Life and Health Operations (LHO) department plays a pivotal role in ensuring we provide our customers with affordable and comprehensive life and health products, with efficient processes to allow optimal service to our customers.
As an Executive of our Health Policy Servicing team, you will handle policy servicing transactions of our IncomeShield plans and the ElderShield Supplement. You will also report to the Manager of the Health Policy Servicing team.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Perform health policy servicing transactions such as change of plan type, update of termination status, change of payer, change of payment method etc. within the expected turnaround time
- Prepare letters after performing the above transactions
- Conduct quality assurance audit checks to ensure transactions are performed correctly
- Handle policy servicing-related transactions escalated from customer service and other internal functions
- Checking of exceptional reports and/or transactions
- Liaise closely with a team of clerical staff
- Conduct training to new joiners after familiarizing the processes of policy servicing transactions
- Take on projects (within the department or cross-department) to improve process effectiveness and efficiency
- Support in company-wide initiatives such as reviewing of letters, work instructions, forms, and system enhancements
- Undertake ad-hoc duties as assigned
**Qualifications**:
- At least obtained a Diploma or Degree
- Experience in the life and/or health insurance industry with its relevant insurance qualifications (e.g. HI) will be advantageous
- Familiar with the business environment and industry practices of insurance intermediaries on individual life or health
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Creative problem-solving skills coupled with an eye for detail
- Able to work under tight timeline and pressure
- Able to multi-task and handle various concurrent projects
