**Freelance Illustrators for Chinese Picture Books**

Singapore Centre for Chinese Language Ltd is planning to publish a series of Chinese graded readers of the winning entries of the “Creativity, No Boundaries” National Children’s Story Writing Competition. The works will be published into Chinese picture books and will be distributed to all Singapore primary schools. As part of the effort to promote the creation of art by Singaporeans, SCCL is seeking local talents to be our freelance illustrators for the graded readers series.

**Requirements**:

- Art background is required.
- Experience in drawing picture books is preferred.
- Able to create artworks, illustrations and design layouts for picture books. Good knowledge of children’s picture books is an added advantage.
- Good communication and reading skills in Chinese, to liaise with Chinese-speaking associates
