**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Source and purchase goods, components, or services in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets
- Categories of purchase include EPC, construction and associated OEM components.
- Manage contracts, payment claims, variation orders and contract disputes during project execution.
- Following and enforcing Sembcorp’s procurement policies and procedures, support the functions and communicate any supply problems which may impact on business operations
- Act as an interface between suppliers and internal stakeholders on procurement processes for new projects and activities
- Monitor and advise on any issues which present risk or opportunity to the organization
- Monitor market trends, competitor strategies and market suppliers
- Provide analysis on costs for new and existing suppliers, and review cost reduction activities
- Negotiate contracts, improve prices and terms of business with suppliers
- Review opportunities to create business savings via negotiation and procurement best practices
- Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships on behalf of the organisation
- Prepare cost analyses, and reports

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Bachelor in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field with mínimally 8 years of sourcing/procurement experience, with a focus on strategic sourcing
- Experience in negotiating of vendor contracts including EPC contracts, supply agreements and long term service agreements
- Relevant experience in utilities and/or construction is preferred
- Knowledge of SAP Material Management (MM) modules will be preferrable

- Good communication, negotiation, interpersonal and influencing skills
- Able to manage time effectively
- Able to work well under pressure and handle emergency and stressful situations in a fast-paced environment
- Able to source for alternative categorial and non-categorial materials/equipment independently
- Analytical, numerically astute with strong demonstrated problem-solving abilities
