Our client, a shipping company, is on a lookout for a **Data Architect** to join their expanding team

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage technology mentorship for the region’s initiatives (e.g. business intelligence and analytics)
- Mentor and participate in the design, development, implementation and maintenance of the company’s data systems and solutions
- Develop various models to support the company’s data analysis and business intelligence
- Manage and define guidelines, standards, and processes to ensure the highest quality of data and governance across the company
- Liaison with counterparts such as business and technology team to ensure that the strategic initiatives are delivered successfully and are aligned to the planned enterprise of the IT framework
- Manage of practice around business intelligence and analytics, and align the strategic platforms across the company

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree and above in Computer Science or in a relevant field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role, preferably as a solution or technical lead
- Experienced in bid data solution & technology (e.g. Azure, AWS, etc.)
- Good foundation in hands-on experience in ETL, Data Warehouse, Data modelling and Data Visualization technologies (e.g. SQL, SAP HANA, etc.)
- Good foundation in data integration and data management techniques
- Good foundation in analytical, problem solving skills and a team player
- Added advantage of spoken and written Mandarin due to the engagement of Mandarin speaking counterparts
