**Main Duties**:

- To be responsible to the Head of Department on all matters pertaining to the swimming training programme of the Club.
- To conduct a comprehensive training programme for the swimmers, including improving techniques in the 4 swimming strokes, and preparing swimmers for competitive swimming at SSA National Age Group (NAG) and National School Meets.
- To train the swimmers to be able to complete training sets within times set by the Club. Stroke drills and techniques and racing skills such as starts and turns should be an integral part of the programme.
- To take charge of the training of the swimmers under your control and liaise with the Head Coach on the swimmers’ attendance, performance and other matters of importance.
- To submit a weekly training progamme and weekly report to the Head Coach.
- To review the performance of your swimmers with the Head Coach.
- To attend all swimming meets within and outside the club as assigned by the Head Coach.
- To assist in the preparation and running of the Club’s Swimming meets.
- To maintain proper records of your swimmers, including training sessions, times, stroke assessments and attendance.
- To attend to swimmers and parents’ queries on their training progress as and when required.

**Requirement**:

- Min. NCAP Level 1 or any other coaching certification that is equivalent
- Singapore Coach Theory level 1 or equivalent
- Certificate in Basic Sports Science (BSS) or waiver/higher
- Applicants should possess or be working towards NROC
- At least 5 years coaching experience in swimming (beginners and competitive)
- Possess good interpersonal skills
