**About the Team**

BytePlus is a business unit in ByteDance and provides intelligent platform services powered by industry-leading research in emerging technologies. From data analytics tools to computer vision software, BytePlus solutions enable businesses to reach their potential. To help businesses access BytePlus technologies, the Platform team delivers a reliable and easy-to-use platform that businesses can use to discover, learn more about, purchase, and use BytePlus solutions. Our platform makes it radically safe and effortless for technology professionals to consume solutions like BytePlus Recommendation, BytePlus Effects, and BytePlus Data Intelligence to grow their businesses.

As a TPM for BytePlus Recommend, you will support the Product Management team in building the leading recommendation product on a global scale. As a TPM, you will understand market trends, opportunities, and customer requirements and then work closely with other product managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to drive the full product life-cycle, including but not limited to market analysis, product positioning, value proposition, and product realization.

**Responsibilities**
- Demonstrate a high level of strategic foresight and technical proficiency to collaborate effectively with departments such as Sales, Engineering, Legal, Product Management, Marketing, Public Relations, and Partnerships, as well as Higher Executives.
- Take ownership of the end-to-end project life cycle. This includes planning (while accounting for interdependencies), defining key milestones and deliverables, performing data analysis, facilitating cross-functional communication, and managing risks and mitigations. Ensure timely status tracking, reporting, and execution.
- Lead and drive strategic projects that span multiple teams within the organization. Employ your influence to build consensus, manage competing priorities, and keep the teams focused and aligned on the project goals.
- Evaluate existing operational processes and implement improvements or optimizations, particularly in areas that intersect with compliance, scalability, and resource allocation. Establish key metrics to measure project health and success.
- Work closely with Product Managers and organizational leaders to identify challenges, anticipate bottlenecks, and craft strategies to overcome them. Be the catalyst that transforms product roadmaps into realized outcomes, ensuring that the technical aspects align with business objectives.
- Partner with sales teams to align project delivery and feature sets with sales enablement strategies, particularly focusing on data governance and compliance assurances for potential clients.
- Manage the entire product line life cycle, from strategic planning to tactical activities.
- Support product positioning and customer demand, and guide product development from conception to launch. - Evaluate product functionalities and performance and propose enhancements to products based on market feedback.
- Research and analyse potential partner relationships for the product and generate ideas to grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.
- Drive market research studies to explore new technology and oversee development of business proposals for new opportunities.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor degree or above in a technical field such as Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent is preferred
- 3+ years project management experience driving complex, cross functional technical projects
- Strong experience with project management tools including Confluence, Jira, and Asana. Experience with software development project management. Experience with Agile project management.
- Ability to handle multiple, high-priority projects in a demanding environment
- Familiar with software development, market, and user requirements
- Excellent communication skills and able to manage stakeholders across diverse global teams
- A bias towards outcomes and customer success, with relentless focus and creativity to achieve our objective
