Job Scope

1. Vehicle Operation

Drive heavy vehicles such as cargo trucks, tipper trucks, lorries, or buses.

Transport goods, equipment, or passengers safely and efficiently.

2. Loading & Unloading

Assist in or oversee loading/unloading of cargo.

Ensure goods are secured properly to prevent shifting or damage.

3. Route Planning & Navigation

Plan optimal delivery or travel routes using GPS or delivery schedules.

Follow timely pick-up and drop-off schedules.

4. Safety & Compliance

Comply with traffic laws, BCA regulations (if in construction), and company safety policies.

Conduct daily vehicle checks (e.g., brakes, lights, oil) to ensure roadworthiness.

5. Documentation

Maintain logbooks, delivery notes, and vehicle inspection records.

Obtain proper signatures and verify paperwork during cargo handover.

6. Basic Maintenance

Perform simple maintenance tasks like checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and cleaning the vehicle.

Report major faults to the fleet supervisor or workshop.

7. Customer or Site Interaction

Coordinate with clients, site managers, warehouse teams, or supervisors during loading/unloading.

May need to liaise with port authorities or BCA site coordinators, especially in logistics or construction roles.

Pay: $2,500.00 - $3,500.00 per month
