We are looking for a visionary **AI Lead**to drive the transformation of critical systems into intelligent platforms that empower real-time situational awareness, predictive insights, and AI-driven decision support.

This is a strategic leadership role where you will shape and execute the AI roadmap, working at the intersection of advanced analytics, real-time systems, and operational excellence.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Strategic AI Leadership**
- Define and lead the AI transformation strategy for critical systems.
- Identify high-impact use cases in areas like incident response, situational awareness, and decision automation.

**AI Architecture & Integration**
- Design and implement AI solutions such as computer vision, natural language processing, and anomaly detection.
- Lead development of prototypes and for real-world deployment.

**Data & Model Operations**
- Develop robust data pipelines including ingestion, cleaning, labeling, and sensor data fusion.
- Manage the full AI/ML lifecycle—model training, validation, deployment, and feedback loops.

**Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration**
- Work closely with system engineers, DevSecOps, product teams, and public agency partners.
- Ensure AI implementations are operationally sound, secure, and compliant with relevant regulations.

**Innovation & Capability Development**
- Benchmark and align with global AI initiatives (e.g., Project Maven, Aurora AI).
- Build long-term AI capability across tools, platforms, and internal talent.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Minimum 7 years in applied AI, with 3+ years in a leadership role driving system-level AI initiatives.
- Deep experience with AI for real-time environments—especially in computer vision, NLP, and multi-sensor fusion.
- Strong track record in integrating AI into critical systems.
- Familiarity with MLOps practices, cloud/edge deployment, and secure data architectures.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to align diverse stakeholders around complex AI solutions.Knowledge of ethical AI, explainability, and governance best practices.
