Senior Security Officer

**Working Hours**:Day Shift - 0730hrs - 1930hrs / Night Shift - 1930hrs - 0730hrs
**Overview
The SSO provides for safety and security of Client's properties, assets and their people. The SSO is a site level resource who is responsible in generating access badges for all workers and visitors before allowing them to enter the site. The SSO will support deployed SO’s during incident response in liaising and communicating with relevant parties resolve and mitigate these events.
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
- Maintains a safe and secure working environment by implementing and adhering to security policies, processes and procedures.
- Provide assistance to employees and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Create access control badges to include all programming as it relates to activation and deactivation of the access rights.
- Process contractor/visitor badges and maintain appropriate logs regarding the issuance, return and track all associated actions.
- Communicates clearly with their Security Supervisor (SS) on all operational requirements.
- To manage vehicle entry and exit barriers and report any faults immediately to their SS.
- Conduct security patrol duties as directed.
- Contribute to investigations and afteraction reports as directed.
- Document relevant records in log books to provide relevant details for follow-up actions.
- Ensure the CCTV system is professionally monitored.
- Sounds alarms or calls respective SS or Security Operations Centre in all emergencies.
- Any other duties assigned by security management.
