**Responsibilities**:
**THE ROLE**:
As a Senior Product Development engineer, you will collaborate with various Product Development Groups. This individual serves as a critical technical point of contact to the business, design, platform validation and product engineering teams. **THE PERSON**:
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Perform equipment development and jig & fixture design to improve testing capability, resolve mechanical related problems through in-depth engineering analysis and systematic development processes through documentation, prototyping and design validations.
- Provide technical support to Product Engineering team in equipment bring up, validation and yield improvement initiatives leading to new product production.
- Collaborate with key internal staffs (Buyer, Maintenance, Ramp, Financial, Production) to ensure close loop of issues and smooth flowing of projects.
**PREFERRED EXPERIENCE**:
- Experience in Thermal related work, automation equipment design and/or 3D design software & simulation will be an added advantage.
**ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS**:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in computer engineering or computer science or electrical engineering, or comparable disciplines
