MAIN JOB PURPOSE

The role
_ Sustainability Operations Assistant_
- Manager _presents an opportunity to be part of the
_Business Operations Sustainability _team. This team is responsible for the delivery of a range of Unilever’s Climate and Nature Compass commitments.

In this role, you will ensure smooth operation of financial aspects of sustainability team operations and will support key portfolios in day-to-day management and reporting duties. You will report to the Business Operations Sustainability Director responsible for Living Income and Nature and be an integral part of the larger Business Operations Sustainability team which comprises an international team of around 50 people.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Purchase to Pay and Budget Management (50%)
- Assist the Business Operations Team globally in coordinating and managing our Purchase to Pay Process - from new vendor creation, purchase request/order creation, goods receipt to payment.
- Manage vendors who participate in our purchase to pay workflow.
- Support team in budget management process by accurately allocating line items and maintaining an overall view of budget line-item balances.

Portfolio support - provide support to manage Cocoa, Tea, Vanilla, Paper & Board, Collaborative Manufacturing and other portfolios as assigned (40%)
- Provide day to day support to above-mentioned Business Operations Portfolio Leaders, Procurement Buyers and their suppliers on the Sustainable Sourcing roadmap and implementation.
- Ensure quarterly sustainability data for these portfolios are input correctly into the Sustainable Sourcing Data System and support Procurement with making updates, as part of the Quarterly reporting and verification processes.

Support to the Living Income Roadmap (10%)
- Provide direct support to the Director responsible for the Living Income roadmap, to include contract set-up, data requests, coordinating stakeholders, and other duties as assigned.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

- At least 2 years prior experience preferred, ideally in a role involving:

- Financial or budget management
- Project management
- Quantitative and qualitative reporting
- Supplier due diligence
- Skills essential in this role:

- Financial acumen
- Ability to prioritize
- Stakeholder management
- Reporting and data management
- Problem solving
- Ability to work in virtual teams across time zones
- Microsoft office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, OneDrive, Sharepoint)
