We are now seeking an accomplished **Senior Science Teacher**to lead curriculum development, assessment innovation, and high-impact instruction for **Primary Science**— with a specific focus on **PSLE question-setting**, **open-ended techniques**, and **exam excellence**.

**Role Summary**:
As a Senior Science Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in **setting up and driving the success**of the centre’s PSLE preparation model in Primary Science (P4-P6). You’ll lead the development of **MOE-aligned worksheets**, **mock exams**, **answer frameworks**, and **marking rubrics**, and serve as a mentor to younger teachers. You must bring deep expertise in PSLE Science instruction, including **open-ended techniques**, **curriculum mapping**, and **parent engagement**.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Drive Academic Excellence**:

- Teach and mentor **Primary Science**(P4-P6) students, focusing on advanced **PSLE preparation techniques**:

- Design high-impact lesson materials, including **PSLE-style questions**, **answer keys**, **marking rubrics**, and **revision packages**:

- Lead workshops and info sessions for parents on **PSLE trends**, **common pitfalls**, and **MOE syllabus changes**

**Lead Curriculum & Assessment Development**:

- Oversee the development of proprietary **Science curriculum**aligned with **MOE standards**:

- Set academic benchmarks, **question typologies**, and **assessment strategy**for Science
- Train junior teachers on **marking consistency**, **framework precision**, and **MOE answer expectations**

**Enhance Teaching Culture & Pedagogy**:

- Mentor and coach junior educators, offering guidance on lesson delivery and **PSLE pedagogy**:

- Collaborate with senior leadership on **innovation**in content, delivery models, and academic diagnostics
- Integrate **EdTech tools**(e.g. analytics, **AI-driven platforms**) to support teaching outcomes

**Who You Are**:

- Minimum **8 years of experience**teaching **Primary Science**in Singapore, with proven **PSLE experience**:

- Prior background as **MOE teacher**, **PSLE marker**, **curriculum lead**, or **PSLE Science specialist**:

- Mastery of **MOE syllabus**, **open-ended questioning techniques**, and **answer structuring**:

- Proven experience mentoring other **teachers**or leading internal **teacher training**:

- Strong written and spoken English; able to present confidently to parents and academic stakeholders
- Comfortable using **conversational Mandarin**in a professional context (e.g. internal discussions, team meetings)

**Salary**:
**$8,000 to $15,000/month**— pegged to **PSLE track record**, **curriculum ownership**, and **leadership experience**.
