Our Client is an asset management behemoth that has grown its market share in the Asia Pacific region through mergers and acquisitions. It is now looking for a IT security governance professional to join them in their Singapore office.
Reporting to the Vice President of IT Security and Governance, this individual contributor role will be responsible for IT security and governance within the Asia Pacific region. This includes ensuring that regulatory requirements and IT security best practices are met, and providing recommendations and advice to key business stakeholders on all IT security matters. You will manage and update IT security policies, procedures and controls, and develop a risk management program that identifies and classifies IT security risks and threats, defines appropriate tolerances, and prioritizes migration activities. A key facet of this role is in the development of strong relationships with both external audit and key stakeholders to ensure risk management oversight is understood and managed appropriately and kept current.
Ideally, you have a degree from a reputable university, with at least 10 years of experience in IT work, with at least 4 years of experience in an IT governance, risk and compliance management role. Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA are highly preferred. You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and are highly energetic and self-motivated.
