- Description:
**Purpose of Role**:

- To build up AI capabilities within Marine, such that Marine has its own team to perform and lead AI related projects, collaborate with Group Engineering Centre and/or BAs pertaining to AI related developments
- To collaborate with other verticals pertaining to Marine's Transformation, such as Digitalization, Yard Transformation, Continuous Improvement and Technology & Innovation

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Team Management**: To lead, manage and oversee a team of AI Engineers. Guiding them on technical knowledge, project management and execution, problem solving and establishing communications between internal and external stakeholders
- **Project Management**: Work and engage relevant stakeholders in managing and seeing through projects from start till end
- **AI Model Development**: Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
- **System Maintenance**: Monitor and maintain AI systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability.
- **Data Management**: Collect, pre-process, and analyze large datasets to train and validate AI models.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholder, to integrate AI solutions into existing systems.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, and implement best practices to enhance our AI capabilities.

**Knowledge & Skills**:

- Team Management Skills for a small team of 2 to 3 AI Engineers

- Proficient in Visualization Tool (E.g. Microsoft Power BI) will be advantageous

**Requirements**:

- Masters or Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java. Experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn. Proficiency in Visualization Software (E.g. Microsoft Power BI) will be advantageous
- **Problem-Solving**: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively.
- **Communication**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- **Experience**: Prior experience in AI/ML projects, preferably in a corporate setting.

- 5 days work week
