Manage the SEA Engine Filtration Product Engineering Group; Provide Product Line Management leadership; Responsible for development of competitive filtration system design solutions for customers; Develop local technical resources towards self-sufficiency; Manage assigned product portfolios to ensure profitable product line management and growth. Develop new products for the replacement market in support of the Engine Aftermarket sales growth; Provide support and training to key stakeholders, including sales personnel, distribution partners, and end-users.
- Manage the SEA Engine Filtration Product Engineering Group.
- Oversee the development filtration system design solutions for customers. Strive to provide cost effective design solutions which meet customer performance requirements.
- Provide product direction strategies which meet the company’s objectives and meet specific needs of the SEA market. Manage the product lines for maximum profitability and growth.
- Participate in, and contributes to, overall department, product engineering and product management strategy development and implementation.
- Develop product development plan with both mid and long term focus, including recommendations to management concerning additional resources required to accommodate sales and profit growth expectations.
- Provide technical leadership at customers through visits and presentations on proposed product solutions. Prepare materials of technical presentations and assist the sales force to make technical presentations to customers.
- Provide support and training to key stakeholders, including sales personnel, distribution partners, and end-users.
- Interact and coordinate with Donaldson local and/or global entity product management, sales, engineering, production, quality, and purchasing teams on programs with a global scope.
- Maintain strong inter-company relationships and communication with key product management staff within other Donaldson entities to ensure up-to-date awareness of new developments and strategic direction.
- Works with sales, marketing, inventory, engineering and strategic teams to determine the correct product mix and range to keep on hand for SEA markets.
- Evaluates data from staff engaged in analysis of the market, competitors, customers and target segments to determine growth opportunities and recommend strategic action.
- Evaluates and assesses feasibility of new product opportunities including market potential and suitability for local market, and recommends course of action.
- For each product line of responsibility, monitors competitor activity and updates a competitor intelligence and product data file.
- Coordinate the introduction and launch of new products into the local market, including assisting management with setting strategic direction to develop market campaigns, communication strategy, collateral and training resources as required.
- Develop local technical resources towards self-sufficiency using the knowledge and experience of global Donaldson entities.
- Supervise the Product Group which consists of Product Engineers.

Key Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor degree or equivalent in Science, Technical or Engineering field.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in a similar position in a relevant industry.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions varying in complexity.
- Ability to write clearly and in a manner suitable for the conduct of professional business.
- Ability to effectively present ideas and communicate with members of the immediate group and the organization as a whole.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Solidworks or any other CAD tools will be a plus.
- Leadership competencies including setting pace, knowledge transfer, team development and coaching, ability to influence and organizational awareness.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Access, MS PowerPoint, and the use of mobile technology.
- Effective written and spoken English is mandatory.
- Able to speak any other SEA languages is an added advantage.
