**Job Description**:
Wise is on a mission to make money without borders - convenient, fast, and eventually free. We're looking for a Lead Analyst to join our Spend Squad in Singapore. This role is a unique opportunity to have an impact on Wise's mission, grow as an analytics leader, and help deliver product experiences that delights our customers and drives our growth.
As part of the Spend Squad, you'll primarily work on enabling customers to spend from their Wise accounts and also on bringing new ways of payment to markets.
Here's how you'll be contributing to the Global Product Tribe
- Analytics Product Ownership
- Take ownership of the tribe's data and analytics assets, i.e. data pipelines, dashboards, analytical models and ensure roadmaps are in place to improve quality / address any known weaknesses at the required pace
- Ensure the tribe's data and analytics assets are discoverable and leveraged
- Leadership
- Support and develop analyst function within the tribe, lead a ~5 member analyst team, create structures to improve analyst cohesion and collaboration
- Hiring and on-boarding of new analysts
- Guide analyst work across the tribe; e.g. help analyst structure projects and define data models
- Contribute to overall analytics strategy, ensuring that tribe data and analytics is discoverable and leveraged
- Partnership
- Support and develop the data and reporting for the tribe, including ensuring that user behaviour tracking is robust
- Our analysts will partner with our product teams in the tribe to help project and measure the impact of our product changes and help us understand what customers want from our product, how can we acquire them, retain them and how we can provide an engaging experience for them
- You'll partner with our tribe leadership team to help them drive the priorities of the tribe and build conviction through data
- You'll identify opportunities how to more powerfully use our data, and machine learning, to automate and optimise our processes and solutions
This role will give you the opportunity to:
- Choose your path to impact - we believe people are most empowered when they can act autonomously. So rather than telling you what to do, you'll work with your team to create a vision of your own. Of course, you can always gather feedback from smart, curious people across Wise but you'll have the freedom to make your own calls
- Grow as a leader - Build your team and inspire them to join our mission
- Be part of our mission to make money without borders the new normal
**Qualifications**:
About you:

Core to this will be the ability to define key product metrics and track ongoing product improvements. You should be comfortable defining metrics that track engagement, retention and churn at a cohort-level.
- You are experienced at structuring and measuring experiments, including A/B testing and are comfortable providing guidance on topics like statistical power, sample sizes, significance and are able to make strong, data-based recommendations to product teams
- You have led and scaled a team of analysts.
- You're highly proficient with database, analytics and visualisation technologies (we use Snowflake, Looker and Python)
- You've experience in the cards industry, including working with schemes and payment processors
- You're a self-starter who is comfortable working autonomously and with teams located across our offices. You're not afraid to get your hands dirty, prioritise your focus based on impact, and are able to own a project from start to finish.
- You can take complex, fuzzy problems and boil them down into concise and actionable insights
What do we offer:
- Company Restricted Stock Units
- Numerous great benefits in our Singapore office
