Since October 2011, **Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities (**THK**MC)** was incorporated as a charity with an IPC status to provide multiple social and welfare services to the community at large.

**THK**MC provides assistance to the various groups in our community through more than 60 programmes and services for the **elderly and the sick**, **families**, **persons with disabilities**, and **children. **We help anyone in need with full respect to their race, colour, creed, language, culture and religion. We have more than 90 programmes and services, reaching out to more than 55,000 people in the community.

DESIGNATION : Senior Social Worker

RESPONSIBILITIES

**Clinical Aspects**
- Provide social work services, including casework management, groupwork, counselling, home-visits, conducting assessment interviews on clients and their family members
- Oversee the development, implementation and review of individualised care plans with the multi-disciplinary team
- Manage emergency response and crisis management with regards to clients’ behaviour management with the multi-disciplinary team
- Work with the team to manage crisis placements by Child Protective Services or Adult Protective Services
- Provide caregiver support and organise relevant caregivers’ engagement sessions
- Build a good rapport with relevant stakeholders and external agencies to mobilize resources to meet the client’s needs
- Provides supervision, guidance and coaching to supervisees (applicable to Senior Social Worker)
- Meets with supervisees on a regular basis and participates in supervision and performance evaluation

**Process and Resources Management**:

- Ensure the smooth running of all related processes for case work management
- Enforce and maintain consistent processes and practices for social work team
- Develop and implement new improved processes and systems for the social work team
- Ensure the timely submission of statistical reports by the Home to Government agencies for management reporting, funding or audit purposes

QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Social Work/ Post Graduate in Social Work

- Good teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team; and a high level of integrity
