About the Lark APAC Commercial Team
We are responsible for planning and delivering market expansion across APAC and driving business strategies to create commercial impact for our global business. This includes developing & implementing commercial strategies and business plans that increase presence, brand recognition and growth in the industries and countries within APAC where commercial traction exists, as well as exploring new areas where our product can move the needle and win.
**Responsibilities**:
- Establish, own and maintain c-level relationships with Lark APAC's Chinese customers and prospects
- Deepen and transform these relationships through collaborative programs, dedicated meetups and customized presentations
- Ensure Lark is the top-of mind tool for the Chinese businesses looking to go overseas
- Serve as a point of contact for Lark's Chinese customers in APAC, addressing their needs, resolving inquiries, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Accelerate Lark APAC's business with Chinese customers by working alongside the sales & customer success teams to pitch and serve these customers according to their needs
- Participate & present at relevant networking events
- 5+ years C-level customer facing experience with Chinese businesses & entrepreneurs
- Strong understanding of the Chinese business environment, cultural nuances, and customer behaviors
- Deep understanding of how to build and navigate senior-level Chinese business relationships
- Bilingual Mandarin Chinese and English capability is required. Proficiency in other Chinese dialects is a plus given the fact that most clients are based in mainland China and not all can speak English or Mandarin.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Startup mindset: scrappy, resilient, with a proven desire to build from scratch and adapt to changing environments
- Willingness to travel within China and across APAC as required
