The responsibility of the veterinary practice manager is to effectively use all available resources to provide the best possible patient care by the clinic and to ensure profitability of the practice.

The veterinary practice manager reports to Practice Owners

Areas of responsibility encompass but not limited to
- veterinary practice administration
- operational plans,
- training of staff
- ordering and stocking supplies and equipment,
- staffing
- safety and security
- Review/evaluation/analysis of the past performance of the practice

To be successful in this role, you will generally need the following skills and qualities:

- **Organization skills**: This position requires a fine balance of administrative and clinic functions to coordinate the programs and resources including human resources.
- **Leadership skills**: Veterinary practice managers must be able to motivate employees and deal with issues that may arise so that the vets can focus on helping the health of the animals.
- **Communication and interpersonal skills**: The majority of a veterinary practice manager’s day is spent working with other people, so verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others are key to success.
- Ability to work and resolve problem **independently
This is a Full time / flexi position with 1 weekend shift included

Educational Requirements :Polytechnic diploma or higher

Min 3 years of supervisory experience

Rumerneration will commence with experience.
