**Main Responsibilities**:

- To spearhead the Testing & Commissioning during the testing, start-up, commissioning and initial operation of all the elements of the assigned Projects in accordance with committed timelines and commissioning plan.
- Completion of Testing and Commissioning stage ie Workflow, Commissioning Plan and Commissioning schedule within working budget.
- Lead the commissioning and report on weekly basis.
- Ensure systems testing start-up and operation of all the plant elements are completed and requirements of the commissioning plan are met.
- Develop a Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Management Plan for the T&C stage of the project and commissioning process is planned and carried out within environmental-friendly and safe conditions.
- Ensure LOTO procedures are fully implemented and controlled.
- Provide troubleshooting support for equipment operation and monitoring all equipment and the system as a whole
- Liaise with the design engineering team from the start of the project to put forward inputs / concerns related to T&C prior to and during and after commissioning stage
- Interface scheduling and coordination between all parties in the T&C Stage of the project
- Assist with Acceptance/Performance testing plan activities
- Ensures analysers and equipment are calibrated as required
- Coordinate with the commissioning manager with the commissioning plan.
- Support preparation of O&M Manual.
- Ensure that all relevant documents and filling in place especially in compliance with latest standard procedures.

**Job Requirements**:

- University degree in Chemical or Mechanical or Environmental Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of commissioning of Water Treatment systems.
- Familiar with water and wastewater process technologies such as Ion exchange, membrane, clarification, inorganic and biological waste water systems
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving capacities.
- Good command of English both in writing and speaking.
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills at an operational level as required.
