As a Barclays Singapore Branch Ops you will join the MEPS+ Settlements team under the wider Singapore Branch Ops construct. This is a challenging role requiring the successful individual to partner, coordinate and drives progress across different business areas as well as partner closely with key stakeholders and colleagues around the firm. This also presents an excellent opportunity to join a market leading organization and business area and play an active part in driving the long-term development of the function.

**What will you be doing?**
- Performing trade processing of Singapore government Bonds and Repo transactions
- Performing trade validation of Money Market and FX transactions
- Monitoring and managing exceptions for trade flow and regulatory threshold levels
- Monitoring and validating the completeness and accuracy of all trade lifecycle events
- Performing EOD checks to ensure completeness of daily tasks
- Acting in capacity of liaison officer, engaging stakeholders and a conduit between internal functions and regulator
- Assisting with the execution of planned regulatory activities mandated by MAS
- Building and maintaining significant relationships with business colleagues across Trading, Finance, Operations and Technology

**What we’re looking for**:

- Degree educated or equivalent qualification
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines with a good sense of urgency and accountability
- Excellent team player, self-starter with positive attitude
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Security Settlements
