**Energy & Power Claims Solutions Leader, Asia**

**What can you expect?**

Reporting to the Claims Leader, this role will lead the Claims Solutions function for the Energy & Power sector in Asia. Key focus will include leading a small team of claims advocates to develop value proposition strategies and ensure delivery of client service standards and managing key complex claims for the client base. This role will suit a technically focused insurance professional who has experience in managing a significant budget.

**We will count on you to**:

- Provide leadership for a team of two claims advocates to develop value proposition strategies and ensure delivery of client service standards.
- Handle complex claims requiring hands-on active claim management, problem solving and formulation of settlement strategies for clients including providing coverage and claims strategy guidance to clients.
- Work closely with clients and other claims, placement, and engineering colleagues.
- Assist and support the Broking teams in retaining existing clients and acquiring new clients by participating in client pitches and RFPs.
- Understand client service requirements and utilize demonstrated capabilities to deliver value.
- Monitor insurer response and engage with insurers and their professional advisers on complex queries as well as service levels for Energy & Power clients.
- Raise the profile of Claims Solutions internally through the delivery of training, technical publications et al.
- Foster close relationships between Claims Solutions colleagues and Claims Operations along with continued quality engagement with insurers and loss adjusters.

**What you need to have**:

- More than 15 years of relevant work experience and leadership in Energy & Power Claims management & resolution.
- Creative analytical and problem-solving skills, self-organized, and process-driven with a knack for balancing the big picture with the details that matter
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to define a compelling narrative, convey complex ideas and crisply communicate all to a variety of audiences
- Ability to influence and negotiate with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues, with a strong bias toward action, in order to prioritize work and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated record of team leadership and management in a similar work environment.
