**Summary: IT, Senior Project Manager**
This position works within Waterfall and Agile methodologies as they pertain to technology by building and managing a project plan, creating project metrics, and liaising between the IT team and stakeholders to ensure the best approach is leveraged based on the needs of the project. Activities include prioritizing, coaching, and communicating progress of projects to achieve specific strategic business objectives. This role requires an outstanding professional who mixes strong analytical, social and technology skills.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Understand organizational strategy, vision, and business needs to ensure projects are delivered effectively and value is realized
- Use Waterfall, Agile or Hybrid methodologies based on project size and complexity
- Deliver projects through effective management of budget, scope, schedule, and quality
- Manage project risks, create mitigation plans, and escalate decisions to resolve issues as needed
- Manage project team members and vendors to deliver projects that span across global locations and resources
- Proactively manage change in project scope, identify potential problems, and establish contingency plans
- Create and deliver regular project reports, burndown charts, change requests, and presentations to stakeholders at multiple levels
- Manage multiple large to medium sized project
- Manage Agile/Waterfall projects as per OIA’s PMO processes
- Lead team ceremonies (daily standups, retrospectives, backlog refinement) and build project roadmaps
- Coach and mentor peers to enhance project management skills and improve delivery of IT projects

- Experience in use of Project Manager tools (estimating, planning, risk management, change management, etc.)
- Experience managing projects with a global virtual project team and stakeholders
**Education and Experience**:
- 5+ years in project management with demonstrated success guiding a project through its lifecycle (replace above line)
- At least one of the following certifications: PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, CSM or other applicable certification
- Lean/Six Sigma certification preferred
