- Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors, or freight forwarders
- Keep detailed records, generate reports, and develop presentations to help management understand the logistics perspective
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure operational flow, identify potential problems and find solutions
- Develop or implement procedures or systems to evaluate or select suppliers
- Build relationships within the company and with external parties, such as suppliers or distributors
- Understanding of principles of accounting and finance
**Job Requirements**:
- Degree in any discipline. Preferably with a minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in supply chain and logistics
- Ability to manage logistics of all aspects of the supply chain, from product development to the shipment of finished items
- Understanding of accounting or finance
- Strong communication skills and ability to build lasting relationships with partners
- Ability to use MS Office and planning software to do forecasting and inventory management
