A Senior Research Engineer position is available in the Centre for Information Sciences and Systems, School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

**Job Description**:
The Senior Research Engineer (Software Development) will be mainly responsible for integrating hybrid on-board unit (OBU) running the latest Vehicle to Everything (V2X) technology for Connected Smart Mobility (COSMO) programme. The job roles include:
- Create new C-V2X use cases that is defined in 3GPP TR22.885/886- Help preparing the resources and assisting live demo during open house events and ad hoc events- Work closely with PI, team members and collaborators to ensure timely and efficient completion of project milestones

Job Requirements:
Educational background required:
- Bachelor and above degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering

Preferred Knowledge & Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of software development experience- Interested in V2X technologies and passionate about software development- Proficient with embedded Linux programming- Proficient with modern C++ programming language- Experience in working with security libraries such as openssl- Experience in software configuration management tools, e.g. Git or Subversion- Experience in hands-on Internet technology and mobile app development will be added advantages- Experience in data analysis will be added advantages- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever changing environmentHiring Institution: NTU
