Roles & Responsibilities

Application Owner and developer for Data Warehousing solutions as part of the global Applied Intelligence/Advance Analytics Data Solutions Group. The Data Solutions Group is responsible for integrating Corporate, manufacturing, and engineering data out of a high variety of source systems used in the semiconductor engineering and production process. The data warehouse solutions are used in the GLOBALFOUNDRIES in the US, Dresden, and in Singapore, and the Data Solutions Group is responsible to conceptualize and provide timely, high-quality solutions that address the analysis needs of Business users and engineers in a leading-edge semiconductor foundry. The person in this role will be responsible for the design, implementation, optimization, and support of enhancements and deficiency corrections, as well as the coordination of new releases. Responsibilities will also include activities to streamline and further standardize the architecture in the data warehouse space and provide technical consulting to projects with data warehouse related scope. A thorough understanding of Data Warehousing and Software Development Lifecycle concepts, strong communication skills, and a process-oriented mindset are required in addition to very good technical and documentation skills.

**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Understand the business case and translate to a holistic solution involving AWS Cloud Services (Data Ingestion, PySpark, Python,Airflow) & Cloud DB Snowflake/Redshift
- Proactively working with internal and external users to resolve system notifications and support issues timely with adherence to SLA standards.
- Required to work on Project Development work, User Co-ordination, E2E project handling and involvement of multiple projects
Understand and suggest data model requirements for ETL needs.
- High-level & detailed design of AWS ETL & Snowflake Solution.
- Expected to perform Application/operational support(L3)
**Required Qualification**:

- Degree / Masters in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline
- 8 years or more proven experience in developing solutions in Data warehouse & Cloud Technologies (Python, PySpark, Jenkins, Airflow etc..)
- Good experience in AWS Services, Big data, PySpark, Python, Cloud DB Snowflake/RedShift
- Proven experience with large, complex database projects in environments producing high-volume data
- Experience in preparing data warehouse design artifacts based on given requirements (ETL framework design, data modeling, source-target-mapping)
- Strong in communication, analysis, problem-solving, and articulation skills.
- Excellent conceptual abilities paired with very good technical documentation skills, e.g. ability to understand and document complex data flows as part of business/production processes, infrastructure. Familiarity with SDLC concepts and process
- Ability to work independently and as a team player within a global organization.
- Expected to work and collaborate with teams from US, EU & APAC regions.
