We require a Research Officer to help with some animal work relating to skin. It would be advantageous to have an animal license and experience working with animals and harvesting tissues for histological processing and staining. Experience in imaging and image analysis would be appreciated. Full training in all of these areas can be given to someone willing and eager to learn.

**Responsibilities**:
Be able to train and lead the lab members in setting up animal experiments.
Help with setting up histology equipment in lab and provide general histological support.
Staining tissues and imaging them with slide scanners and confocal microscopy.
Histological analysis of tissues.

**Requirements**:
At least a Bachelor’s or equivalent in any relevant field of cell biology, biochemistry, veterinary sciences other life sciences.
Prior expert knowledge in histology, sample processing and imaging.
Experience with animal work and tissue repair
Self-motivated and well-organized with good communication and technical skills.
Able to work independently and collaborate effectively in a highly diverse and interdisciplinary team.
