**Job Overview**:
**Job Duties**:
Assesses existing technologies and processes in manufacturing and works with the business to justify and prioritize projects, engineer solutions and implement them.
Provides engineered technical solutions to help manufacturing plants achieve improvement objectives.
Utilizes engineering tools such as Solidworks-3D modeling, 3D printing, FMEA, and FEA to design, test and implement efficiencies in quality, manufacturing, assembly and testing.
Utilizes PLCs, wireless technologies, automation, Python and data analytic tools to implement efficiencies in manufacturing, assembly and testing.
Works with 3rd party technology leaders to ensure best technical solutions are considered.
Collaborates across manufacturing plants to help the broader engineering team achieve objectives through mentoring and best practice sharing.

**Job Qualifications**:
Completion of an undergraduate degree in Engineering required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience.
Proficient in Solidworks, design, and GD&T.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Undergraduate degree in Mechanical, Computer/Electrical/Controls, or Aerospace.
Experience with other Advanced Manufacturing technologies, languages, or programs (Additive Manufacturing, VR/AR, Python, etc.).
Experience with Lean and Six Sigma.
