**Job Summary**:
As part of the Central Kitchen team, you will provide food production support by preparing different types of cakes and ensuring fresh and delicious cakes are delivered to our customers and stores on a daily basis.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Daily preparation and production of a variety of cakes in accordance to Company’s SOPs and recipes
- Follow the daily cake production schedule to ensure correct quantities of cakes are prepared and sent to the stores
- Adhere to all standards of cake presentation and production
- Frosting and decorating of cakes and/or desserts
- Ensure there is little wastage in food preparation
- Ensure proper hygiene are practiced based on Food Safety and Hygiene Standards and proper storage methods are followed
- Ensure areas of responsibility are clean, tidy and organised
- Any other duties tasked by Food Production Lead or based on operational needs

**Experience and Qualifications**:

- Nitec/Professional certificate/Diploma in Baking and Pastry Arts or its equivalent
- Minimum 1-year baking experience as a Cake Baker, preferably in a Central Kitchen environment
- Experienced in cake baking and decorating is preferred

**Personality and Competencies/Skills**:

- Passionate in baking
- Ability to work as a team, positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Familiar with kitchen equipment, e.g. mixers, blenders, etc
- Able to work shifts, weekends and Public Holidays
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment

**Salary**: $1,500.00 - $2,000.00 per month
