**Roles & Responsibilities of a Carpenter**:

- Understand customer requirements for the job
- Take site measurements independently to determine materials needed
- Process timber and other materials according to job requirements
- Building of furniture, cabinets, shelves, and other products
- Installation of products
- Follow established safety rules and regulations
- Maintain a safe and clean environment and clean up after job is done

**Requirements**:

- Min 3 years of experience as a furniture / renovation carpenter
- Able to understand sketches/drawings/plans
- Able to take site measurements
- Must have experience in using wood working machines such as router, planner, sanding machine, edge bender, post forming etc.
- Able to communicate in Chinese to work well with existing team of Chinese speaking carpenters
- Willing and able to work outdoors (if needed)
- Willing and able to work shifts and weekend (if needed)

**Details**:

- Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm
- Saturday 8.30pm to 3pm
- Employer is a renovation company with in-house wood-working workshop
- Applicant is expected to have his education verified for the S pass position.
