Senior Assistant Manager, Overseas Entrepreneurship

The incumbent will report to the Program Director, in the management of operation and expansion of the Overseas Entrepreneurship Program. The key responsibilities include program management, geographic expansion, compliance, marketing and internship placement. The responsibilities include the following:
**Program Management**
- Assist the Program Director in managing the operations of the Overseas Entrepreneurship Programme (“OEP”) including oversight of overseas internship placement representatives
- Maintain oversight of program for quality, management and reporting purposes.
- Ensure integrity of student intern data for MOE Global Innovation Alliance grant reporting
- Oversee selection and placement of targeted number of students in OEP locations

**Geographic expansion and internship placement**
- Ensure diversity in overseas start-ups qualified to offer internship places
- Responsible for developing relationship with startup partners in USA and Europe to offer internship opportunities
- Identify and develop new markets and locations for overseas internship placements
- Ensure diversity in overseas start-ups qualified to offer internship places

**Marketing**
- Develop a marketing strategy to encourage participation in the program amongst the NTU undergraduate population
- Maintain linkages with past and present OEP participants to build a vibrant alumnus to promote entrepreneurship
- Plan and coordinate school outreach events, student workshops and OEP Alumni activities

**Compliance**
- Manage program expenditure and ensure compliance to MOE Global Innovation Alliance (“GIA”) grant guidelines.
- Assist in tracking and monitoring of student employment and venture building activities after graduation as a requirement of GIA grant reporting

**Requirements**:

- Minimally a Degree holder with at least 7 years of working experience preferably in an operational or marketing role
- Prior experience in the tertiary education sector, overseas internship or business development in USA or Europe would be an advantage
- Resourceful, organized, teachable, detailed and a team player
- Service-orientated and keen on working with tertiary students
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage corporate executives
- Interest and experience working with start-ups, VCs and accelerators would be a plus
- Willingness to travel
