- Measure and prepare doorways for installation
- hang, adjust and secure door to ensure proper operation
- Perform routine and maintenance on doors and hardware
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Ensure work complies with all building codes and safety regulations
- Experience working in both residential and commercial settings
- 3+ years of experience as Door Installer
- Ability to work efficiently and independently or as part of team
- Assign daily tasks to door installation teams
- Monitor and evaluate the work for installers
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to guide installations
- Inspect completed work for quality and adherence to specifications
- Resolve issues related to improper installation or customer complaints
- Conduct regular site checks for safety and compliance
- Ensure tools and equipment and used safety and maintained properly
- Provide progress updates, reports and documentation for each job
- Communicate with clients to address expectations, timelines or changes
- Train and mentor junior installers, as needed
- Must be flexible with work hours. Overtime and weekend work including Sundays may be required based on project or site demands
